The Explorer 527 is Thrane & Thrane’s first generation vehicular BGAN system. It comprises a compact, robust antenna mounted on the roof of your vehicle, which tracks the satellite while moving and a transceiver that can be rack-mounted inside your vehicle for optimum stability.
The Explorer 527 delivers near maximum bandwidth available on the BGAN network for Standard IP data applications and up to 128kbps for Streaming IP. It provides reliable voice and high-speed data connectivity for emergency responders, aid, media and other commercial sector organisation workers, such as in oil and gas and mining, irrespective of where or the terrain through which they are driving.
